Investment banking advisory firm, operating in Australia and New Zealand offering financial services including global foreign exchange, structured finance, capital markets, and corporate financing and advisory services.

The operations team were looking to replace outdated legacy solutions and Excel spreadsheets used for transaction flows in the post-trade processing environment. They had ~130k long lived derivative trades (swaps) on the DTCC and little confidence in the legacy strategic reconciliation system.

Control Cloud was chosen to reconcile markets derivative trades between the many product systems such including Murex, Midanz and Marketwire.

Control Cloud was implemented reducing the configuration time on the strategic reconciliation system from approximately 5 months to 6 days.

Financial Software Firm

Despite being a leader in financial software tools, enterprise applications, data services, and news to financial companies and organizations this firm struggled with internal resource management.

Real-time traffic and a consumer demand for access created a unique strain on Bloomberg’s architecture team especially in low bandwidth situations.

Connect Cloud data compaction was selected for in-memory computing from data-center to device. Heavy compaction meant real-time information could be transmitted in binary form at a fraction of the network load.

Connect enables Bloomberg to push their data services to mobile devices, Connect's standards solution is also built into to Bloomberg data platform saving Bloomberg time and money on trying to develop the solution in-house.

Global Bank

An international commercial bank with offices in more than 50 countries, provides solutions for corporate, institutional clients and international companies.

Facing data fragmentation challenges, regulatory pressures, and the need for digital transformation in a competitive banking landscape, the Global Bank required a robust solution to streamline operations, ensure compliance, and leverage data as a strategic asset for informed decision-making and improved customer service.

Global clearing venue

One of the world's leading clearers of derivatives, cash securities, OTCs and other financial instruments and part of a Corporate Banking network, with established positions in Large Corporate Coverage, Global Markets, Clearing, Asset Based Finance and Transaction Banking

The team required enterprise data automation of exchange traded derivatives and intersystem transactions. They were using a legacy solution for ETD’s with many Excel spreadsheets of transaction flows in post-trade processing.

Time to market was critical to avoid delays, increase efficiencies and reduce risk. Control Cloud quickly on-boarded different Exchange files and rapidly configured reconciliations against the multiple feeds from their back office systems.

Control reduced the effort to on-board new reconciliations from 220 man hours (30 days) to 17 hours (2 days). The firm will use Control Cloud to reconcile with over 80 Exchanges and processes in excess of 15 million transactions per day.

A leading financial institution comprising several legal entities, which together offer clients corporate and investment banking, financing, securities, treasury services, asset management and research.

Team were grappling with outdated systems and siloed data sources, hampering its ability to efficiently analyze and leverage real-time market information for regulatory reporting requirements.

Prime EDM and supporting data acquisition services were onboarded to streamline reporting processes and deliver compliant, timely results.

Retail Bank

A large retail and commercial bank, looked to Gresham to ensure that its controls could keep pace with the wide range of innovative products the bank offers to its retail customers.

Control presented the opportunity for the UK Bank to easily manage different kinds of controls from one platform, something which is currently time consuming and resource intensive. Its data agnostic nature also means that it can handle data from multiple different sources and feeds across the enterprise, even though these may be in different formats.
